My name is Naoko Kimura, a Japanese freelance travel coordinator and Middle East travel consultant.

I began my work as a freelance travel coordinator in 2009 under the name “Picturesque Jordan,” focusing primarily on travel to Jordan.

As my professional network and areas of collaboration expanded across the Middle East, I transitioned to the name “Picturesque Levant” in 2018 to reflect a broader regional scope.

Since then, I have continued to operate independently, providing travel consultation and coordination services to Japanese clients.

I work independently as a freelance professional, in collaboration with licensed and locally registered travel companies across the region.

I am not a travel agency, and I do not sell or operate tours. All travel services are organized and provided by licensed local travel companies in each country, under their respective legal frameworks.

My role is to act as a bridge between Japanese travelers and local travel providers.

I support my clients by:

Understanding their travel preferences and requests

Communicating with local travel companies on their behalf

Assisting with itinerary planning and coordination

Providing Japanese-language support to ensure clarity and cultural understanding

All final travel arrangements, operations, and contractual responsibilities are handled directly by the respective local travel companies.

I operate under a strictly independent and legally compliant business model. I do not receive commissions, referral fees, or any form of financial compensation from local travel companies. My services are provided directly to my clients, and my income is derived solely from them.

This structure allows me to maintain neutrality and prioritize the best interests of my clients.

My work is conducted entirely remotely and is not tied to any specific country or location. I do not engage in or derive income from any local economic activities in the countries where I reside. My presence in any country is solely for residential purposes while my business activities remain international.

I have lived in the Middle East for over 17 years, including time in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, and Egypt.

Through these experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of the region’s cultures and travel environments, which I apply in supporting my clients remotely. I collaborate with trusted local travel companies across seven countries in the Middle East, building long-term professional relationships based on reliability and mutual trust.

To date, I have supported more than 900 Japanese clients and groups.

Many Japanese travelers feel both curiosity and uncertainty about visiting the Middle East. Through my work, I aim to provide accurate information, clear communication, and reliable coordination so that travelers can make informed decisions.

My role is not to manage or operate travel services, but to support clients in navigating communication and planning with trusted local providers.

I believe that meaningful travel experiences are built on understanding, preparation, and trust.

Rather than selling travel products, I focus on supporting each traveler individually, ensuring that their plans are clearly communicated and properly understood by local partners.
